MARY GEORGE, MA, CMC, PSC
A Passion for Caring
Mary George, MA CMC PSC is a Florida native. She has worked with older persons with health challenges in Hillsborough County in the public and private sector for more than 20 years. Helping caregivers and families to care for their loved ones is a passion and vocation for Mary, and Best Years Senior Care (BYSC) was founded to honor God and continue this journey with her clients.
Certified through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM), Mary is also designated as an ‘Advanced Professional’ in the Aging Life Care Association (ALCA). It is a designation earned by care managers that have demonstrated a professional level of education and expertise gained through years of experience helping clients and family caregivers.
Mary George received her master’s in gerontology from the School of Aging Studies at the University of South Florida(USF). She then spent many years assisting in the training of students in the fields of gerontology and human services as an on-site intern practicum supervisor for USF and Hillsborough Community College’s Counseling and Human Services Program.
